The artwork depicts a nostalgic 90s African mask with a twist. If you grew up in an African American home in the 90's, your mom likely had African mask decor. If not your mother another mother in your family or community. They always made Ameshia Stukes feel safe and seen. Angel of Fire inspires us to maintain the flame that lives inside us. The fire that keeps us alive spiritually.
